Overview: The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing time cards, computing and processing wage / salary payments and related withholdings. This position reports to the Payroll Manager. Responsibilities: Gathers and compiles time records to be processed into database system. Prints paychecks for non-driver payroll groups. Prepares and mails paychecks to employees. Handles incoming mail and sorts within department. Assists in the preparation data to file for Federal, state and other taxes. Coordinates with interdepartmental staff on status paperwork for new hires, terminations, and disability payables. Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll and labor laws on a local, State and Federal level. Respond to IRS inquires pertaining to 941 Tax Filings.
