Overview: The UF Health Pathology Services Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day support of Pathology Services at the 3rd Street location of UF Health Pathology Laboratories. This position requires an individual who possesses exceptional customer service and record keeping skills, has medical terminology knowledge, and familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes. The duties include but are not limited to: Monitor correspondence coming in and going out of the office. Coordinate with and assist Pathologists with credentialing, insurance, and tasks. Track all facility licensure renewals for the laboratory. Purchase supplies and pay laboratory accounts. Perform accessioning of anatomic pathology specimens, manage documents, order specimen pick-ups with lab couriers, assist with Send-Out specimens, organize and maintain glass slide/blocks/files and manage distribution of cases for multiple purposes.
