Overview: Full Time Position Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm   Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance required to maintain the physical structure and equipment in the most reliable and economical operating condition. Responds quickly to any internal disaster and takes charge at the scene until relieved by competent authority. Overview: Support the department objective of Clinical Engineering. Perform troubleshoot, repair, modification, preventive maintenance, safety testing, calibration installation, and evaluation of wide range of complex, critical life support and other patient care equipment to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintains medical and clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan and current asset management software. Consistently demonstrates strong skills and tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment and interconnected systems (VLAN, isolated network and Shands network). Individuals in this position must be highly customer focused with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
