  Duties/Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Machinist to assist in running  CNC and manual machines of a single type independently. (Milling or Turning Center) Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation independently. Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets independently. Perform moderate/complex production set up’s independently with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures. Perform tool offsets as needed independently-Change Tool numbers offsets, speeds, feeds Operate all floor measurement instruments: Micro height, micrometers, calipers, etc. Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
