Overview: The Facility Safety Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and initiatives at Riverside Healthcare (RHC). Management of Physical Environment (PE) Safety and Life Safety Plans in order to minimize hazards and reduce the risk of injury to patients, visitors, and employees is a major responsibility of this position. Incumbent serves as the designated Safety Officer for the organization and participates as an active member of the Riverside Healthcare Safety and Regulatory committee. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Manager of Safety & Project Engineering or another higher-level administrator.
