Overview: The Supervisor for Laundry & Linen serves the linen distribution operations of the system. This position supports the Manager of Laundry & Linen in assisting in the supervision of the team, and the coordination of operations. This position will serve as a working supervisor, as needed, to ensure the successful operation of the departments. Some travel will be required to assist with oversight at WakeMed Cary and WakeMed North, however, the position is based at WakeMed Raleigh. The Supervisor will ensure that all linen distribution and sanitation operations are done in manner that meets all regulatory and infection prevention guidelines and requirements. The Supervisor will assist in scheduling, training, coaching, auditing of all employees. Overview: The Linen Attendant is responsible for maintaining an inventory of clean linen to meet the daily needs of the facility and ensure that it is delivered in a timely manner, meeting infection control guidelines, and assisting in the promotion of a quality experience for our patients and their families, staff, and for those individuals who use our facility on a daily basis. Responsible for prompt and accurate distribution of linen, utilizing a computerized linen management system, receiving clean linen deliveries from the laundry, loading and unloading of scrub areas and other duties as assigned.
