Apartment Repair and Maintenance Worker, must be able to start ASAP! We have partnered with a 130-unit apartment complex in East Orange who is in need of extra help in the Maintenance Department to handle Maintenance Orders and Turnovers. Major Responsibilities Hands plumbing, electrical, boilers, painting, carpentry, snow removal, landscaping and appliance repair Must be willing to complete janitorial duties including general common area and grounds upkeep, garbage removal Ideally someone with affordable housing/REAC inspection experience but not required. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service  Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic trouble shooting and repair of packaging and production machine.
