Supports operational workflow by preparing patients for imaging studies, gathering related historical data, and assisting with room preparation. Responsibilities: Reviews scheduled appointments for correctness: i.e.. Exam, contrast use, diagnosis and authorization number matching appropriate CPT coding. Request order changes to be faxed prior to exam date. Check patient schedule first thing in the morning for additions or changes, organizes priorities for STAT and Urgent patients with technologist.
