Summary: The Supply Chain Planner owns end-to-end planning decisions for assigned categories/items across furniture retail supply chain operations, with a focus on inventory positioning, inbound flow, and inter-DC execution. The role independently analyzes forecasts, inventory, capacity, and service/cost tradeoffs to prioritize purchase orders (POs) and transfers, recommend optimal port/DC landing and routing strategies, and drive timely resolution of exceptions. The planner partners closely with Supply Chain, DC Operations, Logistics, and Technology teams and routinely interfaces with Sr.-level Buyers/Merchants and executive stakeholders to communicate risks, scenarios, and recommendations. This position develops and maintains planning logic and requirements for system enhancements to improve planning accuracy, visibility, and execution outcomes.
