Controller Position Overview The Controller manages the accounting staff, is responsible for the oversight of all accounting policies, procedures, operations, and audits; oversees and manages payroll and the financial aid programs; and is a key member of the team responsible for financial reporting and analysis. As a strategic partner to the Director of Finance and Operations, the Controller must be able to provide leadership in identifying and implementing best practices for all accounting and financial functions while promoting a team and service-oriented environment.
