We are currently seeking a Program Specialist to join our Community Dining team in Seattle, Washington.
What will YOU do?
The Program Specialist ensures the efficient operation of the program as project, activity and service lead and supports administrative tasks and compliance functions. The role may contribute to grant writing and reporting, coordinating survey design and program assessments, and providing data collection, analysis, and reporting support. The position also manages volunteer processes including recruitment, documentation, tracking, and background checks and provides direct assistance to 27 sites and maintains effective communication with clients, volunteers, community partners, and the public.
Pay Rate: $29.39 per hour.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Administer, coordinate and perform assigned program projects, activities and services involving 27 site locations and the administrative office. Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to achieve desired outcome and resolve program challenges while ensuring compliance with program guidelines and organizational policies.Maintain program files, collaborate with other departments and collect and track information for grant reporting, program audit and annual funder assessment. Develop and implement plans, processes, and procedures.Design, implement, coordinate, gather, collate, and analyze survey data; prepare reports. Independently provide program information and services to internal audiences, clients/customers, and external agencies and organizations.Coordinate volunteer management processes, including recruitment support, onboarding, and maintenance of required volunteer documentation and paperwork. Track and maintain daily volunteer data and ensure background checks are up-to date and compliance requirements in alignment with organizational policies.Serve as a resource and support for the program's 27 sites, including regular in person visits and remote assistance, troubleshooting, and guidance.Communicate effectively and accurately with program and organizational staff and external representatives and agencies. Assist Program leaders with securing funding opportunities.Perform the work of lower classified positions.Requirements:
