About the role

Responsible for the management of finance and administration, accounting, purchasing, property, food services, facility maintenance, and student records in compliance with government and management directives.

What you'll do

  • Leads multi-department operations including facility maintenance, food services, procurement, accounting, and administration. Provide leadership and direction of all activities for Finance, Administration, and support through planning, organizing, staffing, training, scheduling, and fiscal oversight to ensure a safe, efficient and effective Center.
  • Management of construction rehabilitation projects.
  • Rigorously protect and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of student performance data, student testing, property management, data systems, financial resources, student funds, and all staff and student documents/information.
  • Effectively manage Center funds to ensure value and purpose of all spending to deliver students with best education and living environment for maximum success of Students, Staff and Center performance.
  • Ensure budgetary compliance including DOL contract restrictions on purchase limits and travel restrictions.
  • Coordinate regularly with Center Director, Human Resources related to personnel budget management including cost tracking, vacancies and related spending and savings.
  • Assume full responsibility of all budgetary performance of the Center to include coordinating with Corporate Office related to Corporate procurement activities on behalf of the Center.
  • Perform weekly data integrity audits and provide reports thereof to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain positive linkages with all Center departments through availability and timely communications.
  • Senior Leadership team member reports to the Center Director.
  • Maintain and manage financial strategy and operational performance of a federally funded center.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, masters preferred. Preferably in Accounting and/or Business Administration. Extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Three years related experience, supervisory experience, and computerized administration and accounting systems knowledge.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and strong team ethic, the ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others, and strong time management skills.
  • Job Corps experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
