*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health services across diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning, with a focus on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patients' mental well-being through medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and maintaining the highest quality of patient care.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
* Provide psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health counseling.
* Manage medication regimens responsibly while monitoring for efficacy and adverse effects in accordance with best practices.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex conditions such as developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or geriatrics.
* Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records while complying with HIPAA regulations.
* Engage in crisis management to address urgent mental health concerns effectively and safely.
* Utilize telehealth platforms to extend psychiatric services remotely when appropriate, ensuring seamless patient access.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluation techniques and psychopharmacology.
*Requirements*
* Medical degree from an accredited institution with a valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
* Post-residency experience in clinical psychiatry, preferably with a focus on pediatric psychiatry or behavioral health.
* Demonstrated expertise in working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and geriatric populations.
* Proficiency in various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling.
* Experience working within hospital or clinic environments, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric diagnostics, and medical documentation standards.
* Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure handling of sensitive medical records.
* Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to manage crisis situations effectively.

Pay: $240,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
