General Description: The Enterprise Architect will lead the visioning, planning, and directional execution of our technology strategy and ensure the alignment of our technology vision with OU Health business goals. They will have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire technology professionals, including System engineers, business analysts, and architects, while also establishing connections, credibility, and influence with business leaders across the enterprise. The Enterprise Architect will ensure the company is staying current with Healthcare Technology trends, as well as overall technological trends, and will collaborate and lead discussions with technology teams and business leaders to gather diverse insights that inform cost-effective technology designs and execution strategies. This role will provide leadership which fosters agility, innovation, and efficiency in our implementations.

Develop a comprehensive, long-term technology vision that recognizes legacy realities and supports a flexible future, in alignment with business goals, direction, external technology, and process influences.

Establish and administer technology standards and best practices to ensure enterprise-wide consistency, quality, and compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements.

Promote consistent use of enterprise tools, integration patterns, and design frameworks across all divisions and managed practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field required.
Experience: 5 years of experience in engineering enterprise IT platforms required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
In-depth understanding of Infrastructure, Network, and System Engineering in healthcare preferred.
Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.
Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
Awareness of existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments.
Effective leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity that includes the ability to incorporate preferred.
Strong foundation in data management as a function of architecture design and implementation.
Demonstrated experience leading and influencing technology and governance initiatives across diverse teams and technology ecosystems.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of technology and business stakeholders.

Expertise in tools like ArchiMate, Visio, and Lucidchart.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM templates.

Strong ability to mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
