Overview
This Principal IS (Information Systems) Application Analyst supports DFCI Information Services department systems and applications. The IS Principal Application Analyst will lead application deployment, configuration, system upgrades and maintenance for the many applications within the department. The role will continuously develop and implement process improvements that focus on optimizing operational efficiency, patient safety, and the quality of care. These functions are accomplished through participation in departmental projects with interdisciplinary teams that focus on workflow efficiency, clinical procedures, and applications training. Additionally, the IS Principal Application Analyst position requires a strong understanding of clinical workflows, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience working with technical systems and interfaces.Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care.
