Required License/Registration/Certification Licensed Pharmacist Physical Requirements This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing taskswith repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; andoccasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involvessome risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, ormaterials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borneor airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures,burns, and combative/violent people. Shift This is a full-time position that primarily works a schedule of 7 days on/7 days off or 8 days on/ 6 days off generally from 1030am-9pm weekdays and 730am-6pm weekends in a rotation. Weekends and holidays are part of the rotation. Shift, days of week, and location subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department. Job Summary The Ambulatory Retail Pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians, and reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and drug interactions are monitored. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities This position requires attention to detail; the ability to provide excellent customer service; reliability; punctuality; teamwork; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
