Job Title Lactation Specialist/RN/UKHC Requisition Number NR14554 Working Title Lactation Specialist/RN/UKHC Department Name H3060:Children's/Maternal/Psychiatric Svcs Work Location Lexington, KY Grade Level 10 Salary Range $28.00-39.10/hour Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education ADN Required Related Experience 1 yr Required License/Registration/Certification Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and either Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 20 pounds; bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. Shift Must be able to work three 12 hour shifts per week from 10am until 10:30pm and may include some weekends and holidays. Job Summary This position provides lactation and breastfeeding support for mothers of normal newborns and mothers whose infants are in the NICU.
