Are you energetic, ambitious, and looking to develop your career? Our Mauritius Study Abroad department is looking to add an Admissions Assistant to their team. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it.


The Admissions Assistant plays a critical support role within the Mauritius office, working closely with the Regional Director and Study Advisors to ensure efficient lead management, high-quality admissions support, and a strong student experience. The role centres on lead qualification and conversion, admissions and visa support for Study Advisors, and the preparation of research-based institution reports to guide prospective students. The ideal candidate will possess confidence in telephone-based engagement with students and parents, have a strong follow-up discipline, and demonstrate excellent administrative accuracy.

Your role and responsibilities:

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:


Lead Qualification & Follow-Up

  • Acting as the first point of contact for new student and parent enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and CRM
  • Proactively following up on all inbound leads to assess eligibility, intent, timelines, and budget
  • Qualifying leads against agreed criteria and convert suitable prospects into booked meetings for Study Advisors
  • Maintaining accurate lead notes, outcomes, and next steps within the CRM system
  • Ensuring no leads go unattended and that follow-up SLAs are consistently met

Admissions & Visa Support

  • Providing administrative and processing support to Study Advisors across admissions and visa applications
  • Preparing, checking, and collating application documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission
  • Liaising with students, parents, and institutions to obtain outstanding documentation
  • Tracking application progress and updating the internal systems accordingly
  • Supporting Study Advisors with follow-ups, offer management, and enrolment confirmations

Institution Research & Student Matching

  • Researching universities, colleges, and programmes aligned to student academic profiles, budgets, and career goals
  • Preparing clear, student-friendly institution and programme comparison reports to support advisor consultations
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of partner institutions, entry requirements, intakes, and visa considerations
  • Assisting with ad-hoc research requests to support complex or non-standard student cases

Student & Parent Engagement

  • Confidently phoning and speaking directly with students and parents, explaining next steps and managing expectations
  • Providing a clear guidance on admissions processes, timelines, and required documentation
  • Delivering a professional, empathetic, and service-driven experience at all stages of the student journey

Systems, Reporting & Administration

  • Capturing and maintaining accurate data within the CRM system
  • Supporting basic reporting on lead status, follow-ups, and admissions pipelines as required
  • Ensuring document management and data retention requirements are met
  • Assisting with general admissions-related administration and coordination
