Overview:
To assist customers with all aspects of slots, including machine problems, payment of jackpots, fills, and questions
about their machines or our casino.
Responsibilities:
Good public relations skills; basic computer knowledge helpful; knowledge of equipment and Golden Nugget slot paperwork and procedures; basic knowledge of IRS and gaming regulations helpful.
Minimum age requirement is 21.
Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists with equipment problems such as coin jams, tilts, malfunctions, etc.
- Identifies jackpots and fills, generating documents through on-line system; pays same to customers.
- Monitors change coverage in assigned areas.
- Interacts with customers in all areas, including information, explanation, etc.
- Maintains assigned area in a neat and orderly fashion, including delivering and stocking supplies, removing glasses, rearranging chairs, etc.
- Circulates assigned area at all times making sure that customers are being serviced.
- Checks machine doors on an on-going basis.
- May assist with special projects, such as headcount, etc., as requested.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Constantly walking assigned area.
- Frequently lifting and carrying fill bags, moving chairs and handling cases of supplies (max. 50 – 60 pounds, if multiple fill bags are carried).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work performed in a climate-controlled environment.
- HAZARDS: Cigarette smoke.
- Weight belt available on request.
