Vibrant Minds Applied Behavioral Pediatrics is a newly launched, multidisciplinary pediatric behavioral health clinic designed to address the critical shortage of integrated services for children in Southern Oregon. *Position Summary *

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides comprehensive behavior-analytic assessment, treatment planning, and clinical oversight for children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral needs. This role emphasizes high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, including functional behavior assessment, individualized intervention development, caregiver training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The BCBA plays a central role in supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and trainees, ensuring treatment fidelity, ethical practice, and meaningful clinical outcomes. The position combines direct clinical work, program development, leadership, and collaboration within Vibrant Minds’ integrated care model.

*Key Responsibilities *

*Behavioral Assessment & Treatment Planning *

* Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and developmental evaluations
* Identify target behaviors, skill deficits, and environmental variables influencing behavior
* Develop individualized, data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with best-practice ABA standards
* Apply behavior-analytic principles to address communication, social skills, adaptive functioning, emotional regulation, and reduction of challenging behaviors
* Ensure treatment plans are culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and family-centered

*Program Implementation & Clinical Oversight *

* Provide ongoing supervision, training, and clinical guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other clinical staff
* Support prospective RBTs in completing required 40-hour RBT training and ongoing supervision requirements
* Monitor treatment fidelity, analyze behavioral data, and adjust programs based on progress and outcomes
* Ensure compliance with BACB ethical guidelines, organizational policies, and payer requirements
* Participate in direct service delivery as clinically indicated

*Family Training & Collaboration*

* Deliver caregiver training and coaching to promote skill acquisition, maintenance, and generalization
* Provide clear, compassionate education to families regarding behavioral goals, strategies, and progress
* Collaborate with caregivers to identify barriers to implementation and support carryover across environments

*Interdisciplinary Collaboration *

* Work closely with psychologists, psychometrists, neurologists, pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, educational teams, and administrative staff
* Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and school consultations
* Support coordination of care across home, medical, educational, and community-based systems

*Documentation & Reporting *

* Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation, including assessment reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and supervision records
* Ensure documentation meets ethical, regulatory, and payer standards
* Review and provide feedback on documentation completed by RBTs and trainees

*Professional Development & Leadership *

* Stay current with research and best practices in applied behavior analysis and neurodevelopmental disorders
* Participate in continuing education, peer consultation, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
* May provide supervision for BCBA candidates accruing fieldwork hours
* Engage in clinical research, training, or dissemination activities as appropriate

*Qualifications *

*Required *

* Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
* Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
* Eligible for or holding required state licensure or certification
* Demonstrated experience providing ABA services to children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral needs

*Preferred *

* Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability, and related conditions
* Clinical experience in multidisciplinary, pediatric, medical, or school-based settings
* Familiarity with insurance-funded ABA services and documentation requirements
* Bilingual providers encouraged to apply
