About the role:

The Manager, FP&A is a key individual contributor responsible for supporting corporate and market-level financial planning, forecasting, and performance management at Veridian. This role partners with operating teams and finance leadership to prepare accurate forecasts, conduct budget-to-actuals analysis, develop unit economics reporting, and build financial dashboards that aid in decision-making across the business.

This role is highly analytical and execution-oriented, with a focus on data integrity, clear analysis, and timely delivery of financial insights.

What you'll do:

• Support company-wide and lead market-level forecasting processes, contributing to forecast accuracy and forward-looking visibility
• Prepare and execute monthly budget vs. actual and flux analysis, clearly identifying key drivers and variances
• Develop and maintain unit economics analysis, including margin and operational KPI performance
• Build and maintain operating scorecards and executive dashboards in Power BI to enable leadership decision-making
• Prepare materials and support monthly financial and operating reviews with clear, concise financial insights
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, including financial forecasts, cash flow, liquidity, covenants, and operational KPIs
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between actual results, forecasts, and management reporting
• Recommend and support continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting cadence, and analytical rigor
• Assist in the preparation of materials that flow to executive leadership, including Board and investor reporting

What we are looking for:

• To effectively perform the duties for this position, individuals must be able to demonstrate competencies that are essential to the position, which include:
• Ability to work from Dallas office 5 days per week
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3–6 years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience
• Experience in PE-backed and/or multi-location businesses preferred
• Prior residential / home services experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience with Microsoft Power BI and / or developing operational dashboards
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and operational KPI analysis
• High comfort working with imperfect, evolving, or incomplete data
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable insights
• Clear communicator capable of producing professional-grade financial materials
• High ownership mentality with strong attention to detail and follow-through
