Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in healthcare/healthcare organizations, clinical practice, information technology, accounting, finance, healthcare revenue cycle, clinical informatics, Epic application build, education, or training.
Certifications, Licenses, or Registration Required:
Epic certification or accreditation in at least one module (e.g. ASAP, Cadence, Willow, etc.). If not certified, must be obtained within 6 months after date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMSS), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMMSS) a plus.
Knowledge of training methodology. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Knowledge of computer systems, equipment, and applications. Knowledge of technological trends/developments. Verbal and written communication skills. Teaching and facilitation skills. Ability to determine training objectives. Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. Ability to conduct and/or facilitate information system training and instruction. Ability to train, motivate, and supervise assigned employees and/or team members assigned on a temporary or intermittent basis.

Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, occasional handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment, occasional exposure to biohazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional travelling to offsite locations, occasional work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, occasional reaching, frequent sitting, frequent standing, occasional twisting, and frequent walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more).
