Job Description
The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties by hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administering respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active participant in the continuous quality improvement process. Serves as a resource to other employees.
*Education*
Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
*Experience*
One year of related experience. Requires working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
*Licenses & Certifications*
\*Registered Respiratory Therapist
\*Respiratory Care Professional
\*Healthcare Provider (CPR)
\*ACLS Certification
\*NRP Certification
*Qualifications*
\*Must attend S.T.A.B.L.E. baby course within 18 months of employment.
\*Must become certified in ACLS within 8 months of employment.
\*Has at least 1 year Level III NICU experience either with Tanner or at another Level III NICU facility.
