We are currently looking for a Regulatory Analyst in the United States.This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to provide expert regulatory guidance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Regulatory Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert, advising internal teams and clients on import regulations, classification, and compliance requirements across land, air, and ocean shipments. The position demands a strong sense of ownership, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage urgent inquiries while maintaining accuracy. The role offers both independent work and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to complex regulatory scenarios and a variety of clients. This is a remote position with occasional opportunities to engage with teams across multiple states, providing flexibility alongside professional growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a detail-driven environment and enjoys solving regulatory challenges that directly impact business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely advice on customs classification, valuation, and import requirements for merchandise across multiple transport modes
  • Review and validate regulatory documentation, including Powers of Attorney, USMCA Certification of Origin, and other import filings
  • Conduct post-entry activities such as USMCA claims, Post Summary Corrections, and administrative refunds as needed
  • Maintain Continuous Surety Bonds and ensure compliance with CBP and other regulatory agencies
  • Stay current on regulatory updates affecting clients and internal operations
  • Prioritize and respond to urgent client inquiries with same-day turnaround when necessary
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth compliance processes and problem resolution
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
  • US Customs Broker License required
  • NCBFAA Certified Customs Specialist is an asset
  • Minimum 10 years experience in customs brokerage, regulatory consulting, or similar professional services
  • Strong knowledge of CBP and PGA import requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
