Position Summary: The Patient Access Specialist I (PAS I) will check-in patients upon arrival, identify correct patient information in Hospital Systems, verify patient demographic data, and edit as needed. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma required. Experience Two (2) years previous customer service/administrative clerical experience required. One (1) year experience in patient registration in a medical environment preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Medical Terminology certification or equivalent preferred. Duties & Responsibilities: Greet all patients and their accompanying family members when applicable and provide exemplary customer service.
