Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Finance Director, the Senior Accountant- Manufacturing is responsible for the correct costing of products, the accurate reporting and tracking of inventory and supporting plant management with actionable financial analysis and other critical monitoring and reporting activities. This role is based full time at our cheese manufacturing operation in Kenosha, WI. with limited but occasional day travel to a satellite operation in Waterloo, WI. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up to date cost accounting records, including BOMs, labor, and overhead costs. Prepare and analyze monthly cost variance reports, including collaborating with plant management to ensure accurate understanding of actual costs as compared to standard costing.
