Hiring for an Interim DON for a healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA
Temp pay: 70-80/hour (based on experience)
Schedule is M-F but may need to be available on call as well
As Director of Nursing, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring the highest standards of care throughout the center.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff
- Ensuring quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
- Overseeing staffing, regulatory compliance, and clinical programs
- Collaborating with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
- Driving quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness
What We’re Looking For
- Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years experience at the supervisory, management level
- Prefer 3-5 years experience in a geriatric long term or other health care setting
- At least 1 year of long-term care experience
- Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
- Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred
