Position Title: Accounting Analyst II
Position Summary:
The Accounting Analyst II will work full-time as a member of our Finance team, handling client invoicing and vendor payable transactions. This includes accurately compiling and preparing weekly client invoices from an in-house data source and processing these invoices in our accounting system. This role may also support cash receipt and application processing, customer and vendor record maintenance, operating vendor payable processing and payment, and account reconciliation and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and process weekly client invoices, ensuring accuracy and formatting to meet client requirements.
- Compilation of corresponding vendor payables.
- Coding transactions appropriately in general ledger.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in client and vendor billing items.
- Identify issues and suggest procedural improvements based on prior training or experience.
- Provide administrative support to ensure effective and efficient finance operations.
- Serve as a backup for other client accounts when needed.
- Support cash receipt and cash application processing.
- Compile and verify necessary information for new customer and vendor setups and updates to existing records.
- Process operating vendor payable transactions and payments.
- Perform margin reconciliation and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment
Pay Range:
USD $22.12 - USD $24.04 /Yr.
