EDUCATION
Juris Doctorate required.
EXPERIENCE
At least five-seven years of experience in corporate health care practice; experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
LICENSURE
Current admission to the Connecticut Bar (as Authorized House Counsel or otherwise) or demonstrated eligibility for admission (through waiver or registration) and successful admission within six (6) months of hire.

Interacts with other Legal & Risk Services Department personnel to ensure that legal services are provided to YNHH in a timely, practical, and cost effective manner consistent with the mission and values of the organization. Demonstrates a spirit of teamwork, offering positive and constructive ideas, encouragement, and support to other members of the Legal & Risk Services Department. Able to effectively supervise the development and oversee work product of the Department's more junior professional staff. Proactively seeks professional growth opportunities.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Position is hybrid (in-office and remote) and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment. Travel to delivery network sites may be required.
