Job Summary

The Shipping Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring that all orders are processed, packed, and shipped in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Order Processing and Fulfillment:

  • Coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to hospital customers.
  • Review and process customer orders through the company’s ERP system.
  • Generate and print shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.

Shipping and Logistics:

  • Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight companies to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Assist in tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare shipping documentation for the carriers, including bills of lading and any other required documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address any shipping-related inquiries or special delivery requests.

Inventory and Quality Control:

  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality to prevent shipping errors or damaged goods as needed.
  • Participate in regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

Customer Service:

  • Resolve shipping-related issues in a professional and timely manner to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide proof of delivery documentation or tracking information as requested.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all shipments comply with company policies, industry standards, and any applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records, shipment logs, Packing Lists and Bills of Lading.
  • As needed assist with product returns or replacements, including generating return labels and coordinating reverse logistics.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to five years of experience in a shipping warehouse required.


Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
