Scope – Purpose of the position

We are seeking a skilled FP&A Supervisor with a strong focus on industrial finance and control to support our manufacturing operations. This role is instrumental in driving financial performance through in-depth analysis of production and manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial roles in industrial/ manufacturing environment and a strong background in cost analysis, operational efficiency, and financial planning. This position reports to the VP Transformation and have close contact with C suite executive and supervise 2 direct reports.



Responsibilities:

With a team of two Analyst located in our plants (Easton, PA and San Antonio, TX) you'll have the following responsibilities:


- Partner with plant managers and their teams to develop and maintain accurate cost analysis, including labor, material, and overhead costs.

- Monitor and analyze manufacturing financial performance, including variances in production costs, yields, and waste.

- Develop consolidated modeling around unit cost, production and production scheduling.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.

- In collaboration with your Commercial FP&A counterpart, you'll prepare the financial forecasts, budgets for manufacturing activities.

- Develop and maintain robust financial models linked to production volumes, capacity planning, and resource allocation.

- Monitor and report on key operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and adherence to budget targets

- Support month-end close activities by analyzing activity with plants

- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement teams to align financial strategies with operational objectives.

- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic decisions on investments in equipment, technology, and process improvements.

- Work with the CFO and Accounting Manager to continue to develop best practices regarding corporate accounting policies

- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions

- Manage, mentor and develop a team of Analysts to ensure team optimal efficiency


In addition to the specific duties outlined, you may be required to perform other tasks and responsibilities as deemed necessary by your manager. These tasks will be relevant to your role and within the scope of your area of expertise.


Requirements:

- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or related roles within the manufacturing business. Experience in food, or FMCG industries would be a great plus.

- Experience in leading and managing a team (experience leading a remote team is a plus)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (we operate with Sage X3), familiarity with cost accounting standards and inventory management.

- Prior use of SQL, Board, Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) or Power BI, preferred.

- Experience in manufacturing cost control, including product costing and margin analysis.

- Familiarity with finance databases

- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with the ability to connect financial data to operational activities and outcomes.

- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
