Position: Licensed Insurance Customer Service & Sales Lead

Full-time: (40 hours per week)

Pay Range: Salary (based on experience) + Commission

We provide tailored solutions for auto, home, life, and commercial insurance and expert guidance to ensure our clients are well-informed and protected.

As the Mat Herseth State Farm Agency team expands, we seek a passionate, outgoing, customer-focused, and resourceful individual to join the team as a Licensed Insurance Customer Service & Sales Lead. We are a fast-paced office and we're looking for someone who will excel in a collaborative and professional environment.

Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license and the ability to commute to our office in Scottsdale, AZ.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Insurance Customer Service & Sales Lead position will enhance the customer experience by providing exceptional service, supporting insurance needs by facilitating customer interactions, taking the initiative to achieve sales goals, being open-minded to learning, and being innovative in supporting the growth and success of the Mat Herseth State Farm Agency.

Responsibilities:

Sales
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals. The primary focus is Property & Casualty (P&C), with the future possibility of Life & Health (L&H) and Commercial insurance goals
  • Identify potential clients through lead generation, referrals, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Provide customers with insurance product and coverage information and options to support sales efforts
  • Collaborate and support the team to achieve agency goals and plan community outreach/promotional events throughout the year
  • Proactively follow up on client requests, policy renewals, and claims to ensure excellent customer service and identify additional sales opportunities


Customer Service
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention by accurately answering insurance and coverage-related questions and educating clients on insurance options, policy details, and the benefits of coverage options
  • Verify customer information to guarantee accurate customer records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies for accurately and efficiently processing policy changes and updates


Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Current Arizona insurance license
  • 3+ years of proven customer service experience
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task, research, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
