Position Summary:

Senior leadership position overseeing accounting operations for multiple profit centers with the Branding Iron Holding business. This position requires hands-on leadership to oversee all aspects of accounting, while supporting the organization's operational and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company's accounting function, including month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and controls to support the company's growth and initiatives
• Support the annual audit and tax compliance process, liaising with external auditors and consultants
• Provide analysis and insights that facilitate decision making to senior leadership for the financial health of the business
• Leadership for budgeting and cash management activities
• Maintains the general ledger, tracking assets, liabilities, expenses and revenues.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ERP system utilization and optimize accounting processes
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the food manufacturing industry
• Private equity experience is a plus
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams both remotely and on site
• Detail orientated with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) capabilities
• Experience with business intelligence tools

Benefits

Competitive base salary ($110,00 - $150,000/year). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Full benefits package, including medical/ vision/ dental/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive program based on individual and company performance.
