OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Total Rewards Manager is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's benefits, compensation, and payroll programs. This role ensures that the Total Rewards offerings are competitive, equitable, compliant with applicable laws, and aligned with organizational goals. The Total Rewards Manager will work closely with HR leadership and other stakeholders to develop and implement programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Salary range for this position is $137,492.42 - $160,744.48 with a progressive benefit package.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.

- Benefits Administration
• Design, manage, and evaluate the organization’s employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and ancillary benefits.
• Partner with brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators to ensure efficient operations, competitive pricing, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee open enrollment processes, including employee communications, system updates, and post-enrollment audits.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative in its benefits offerings. - Compensation Management
• Develop and administer compensation strategies, including salary structures, pay practices, and bonus programs.
• Conduct market analyses to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Oversee the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, merit increases, and incentive plan distributions.
• Provide guidance to managers and HR on job evaluations, salary recommendations, and promotion decisions.
• Oversee GreenState’s HRIS; acts as system administrator. - Payroll Oversight
• Oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting. - Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure all compensation, benefits, and payroll programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze reports to provide insights into Total Rewards metrics and make data-driven recommendations.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and compensation. - Employee Engagement and Communication
• Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about Total Rewards programs.
• Act as a resource for employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
• Partner with the HR team on initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement through Total Rewards offerings.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, and payroll management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading and managing direct reports; strong leadership and people development skills with demonstrated skills in providing strategic focus.
- Strong leadership style and skills; ability to coach, motivate, influence, develop and mentor both direct reports as well as other leaders and managers in the organization.
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resource administration including strong knowledge of payroll, wage and hour, employment, and labor law regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external partners.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be bondable.
Reporting RelationshipThis position reports to the VP/Human Resources.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the supervision of others.
