The Escrow Clerk processes refunds to and disbursements from escrow accounts used to collect and pay property taxes and insurance premiums which are required on mortgage loans. Other duties will include, but may not be limited to: typing and mailing letters; calling insurance agents, tax collectors and customers; interpreting insurance policies and loan documents; researching through various municipal records online; preparing checks and general ledger entries; maintaining accurate records; preparing and utilizing reports; and providing customer service and support to both internal and external clients; running yearly and interim escrow analysis, opening and scanning incoming mail. Complies with government regulations, audit requirements and company policies and procedures.
