Job Description
Position Title: Dental Front Desk
Temp to Perm
Location: Yorktown Heights, NY
Pay: $22 – $25/Hr.
Schedule: Mon 8 am – 5 pm, Tues 8 am – 5 pm, Wed 8 am – 5 pm, Fri 8 am – 4 pm, and Sat 8 am – 1 pm

The best candidate for this position will be friendly, motivated, and passionate about patient relations. Experience in dental administration is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Skills Needed:
• Must maintain a genuinely positive attitude throughout the day
• Superior attention to detail with the willingness to learn and accept guidance/feedback, as needed
• Computer skills (Microsoft office, e-mail, etc.) and the ability to learn new technology quickly
• Demonstrate respect and consideration for all members of the team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and also can provide straightforward, empathetic customer service through e-mail and text.
• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of one year of experience in a dental office
• Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
What your responsibilities will be:
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments using dental software
• Contacting patients via phone, text message, and e-mail
• Answering insurance questions, explaining benefit information, and financial obligations to all patients
• Present treatment plans to patients
• Collecting payment for services from patients
• Sending insurance claims
• Requesting and tracking pre-authorizations from insurance companies
• Providing general office support with a variety of administrative activities and related tasks
• Other duties as needed to enhance our patient’s experience
• Must be available to work Saturdays 8 am-1 pm
