Job Description
Complete Staffing Solutions is actively staffing for a junior to mid-level Patent Attorney out of the Chemistry and/or Biotechnology space. This is an onsite need for one of our favorite law firm clients!? Must have 3-5 years of experience within a law firm setting.
This opportunity?will work closely with innovators, inventors, patent agents and more on a?wide variety of IP matters. This opportunity will offer great mentorship from industry leaders in their specialty fields! You will have access to some of the best advisors year over year!
This is an in-office position that does offer an opportunity for a flexible hybrid work model. Our client has?a billable hour?requirement (DOE) that ranges from 1600 to 2000. Salary will be based on experience and a variety of other factors. Responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
Responsibilities:
-Preparing Patent Applications
-Filing Patent Applications with USPTO
-Reviewing and understanding technology advance?
-Managing IP and client Patent portfolios
Qualifications:
-Seeking a minimum of 5 yearsâ experience
-A strong Patent Law and IP foundation
-Must have a JD and be actively licensed and in good standing
-Eligibility to waive into other jurisdictions and/or sit for the bar
-A Masters or PhD preferred in organic chemistry, molecular genetics, human genetics, chemical engineering, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related scientific field?
-USPTO registration and stellar academics?
