Accounting Manager

Manufacturing company in Plainville is looking for an accounting manager that will be responsible for :
? Provide financial reporting, and analysis and assessment of organizational performance to Controller and executive management team.
? Responsible for preparation of monthly income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement
. Responsible for weekly cash flow forecast
? Improve the accuracy and timeliness of key financial information.
? Design computerized systems to maximize productivity of both accounting and reporting functions.
? Support preparation of the annual budget and monitor it by providing variance analysis of results to budget and prior year on a monthly
basis
? Book monthly journal entries in 2 day frame and reconcile general ledger accounts
? Support monthly audit processes ensuring substantive and compliance accuracy and achieving desired results.
. Provide administrative support in Human Resource related functions to the Controller
. Assist Controller in day-to-day operations and month end closing activities
This position will report directly to the Controller.
Requirements :
. B.S. in Accounting
.3 years in manufacturing industry experience
. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills with proficiency in financial softwareâs
