Title: Inside Sales Representative Reports To: Inside Sales, Branch, or General Sales Manager Summary: Responsible for an assigned territory and customer base with the ultimate goal of increasing new and existing revenue streams. Build a successful sales pipeline and partner with Field Sales as the voice of the customer to identify opportunities to grow and retain business. Responsibilities: ⢠Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails ⢠Maintain a monthly sales goal and work on quotes and customer requests by suggestive selling ⢠Enter orders, close sales, and achieve quarterly quotas ⢠Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and work with field sales representative to develop accounts ⢠Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory ⢠Team with partners to build pipeline and close deals soliciting new contacts within new and existing accounts (i.e., Engineers, Buyers, and Requisitions) ⢠Expediting or preventative expediting for your customers when necessary ⢠Learn and understand customer needs and requirements ⢠Attend seminars and tradeshows if applicable ⢠Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: ⢠Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure ⢠Strong phone presence ⢠Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite ⢠Solid verbal, written communication, and presentation skills ⢠Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications: ⢠BA/BS degree and/or equivalent inside sales and customer service experience ⢠Experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas/goals
