* Oversee clinical and administrative operations of the Adult Medicine Department.
* Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager, and Director of Infectious Diseases to improve clinical operations.
* Enhance provider workflow and ensure patient satisfaction.
* Deliver direct patient care to underserved populations.
* Manage the department’s financial performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
*Qualifications*
* Doctorate degree from an accredited medical school.
* Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
* Active physician license in the state of Connecticut (preferred).
* Relevant leadership or business experience preferred.
* Experience with electronic health record systems required.
* Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
*Schedule*
* Full-time.
* Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
*Healthcare Setting*
* Hospital or clinic setting, focused on adult medicine.
*Compensation and Benefits*
* Salary range: $220,000 to $292,500 annually.
