Position Overview:
TEEMA is seeking an Accounting Specialist to provide on-site critical backup support to a financial services team based in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will facilitate and perform various administrative and financial services, including EFT authorizations, stop payments, warrant processing/tracking, deposits, agency inventory, invoice processing, and other related tasks as assigned. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who excels in both independent and collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a backup for Financial Services by performing essential administrative and financial tasks.

Manage EFT authorizations, stop payments, and warrant processing/tracking.

Handle deposits and agency inventory tracking.

Process invoices accurately and efficiently.

Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and quality in reporting.

Provide general administrative support and complete additional duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

Exceptional attention to detail.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to analyze and disseminate information to produce quality work.

Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple assignments.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Notepad, and Google email applications.

Skills Preferred:

Experience maintaining accounting records through automated accounting/banking systems.

Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial data.

Familiarity with lean management principles.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an accounting, financial, or administrative role preferred.

Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
