We are seeking a dedicated, experienced School Psychologist for a remote, full-time evaluator role supporting K-12 students across two elementary campuses. Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments for K-12 students, focusing on the unique needs of students in two elementary schools.
Equitable Assessment Practices: Use culturally relevant, bias-free tools to assess students from diverse backgrounds, including various racial, cultural, gender, and sexual identities.
Expertise with Diverse Groups: Specialize in evaluating multilingual and Special Education (SpEd) students, especially those from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, ensuring assessments are strengths-based and unbiased.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with educators, school administrators, and families to create an inclusive, well-rounded evaluation process and provide valuable insights.
Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate, detailed records of all evaluations, ensuring compliance with legal and school standards.
Qualifications:
Minnesota Certification: School Psychologist certification in the state of Minnesota.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience conducting K-12 assessments in educational settings.
Assessment Expertise: In-depth knowledge of bias-free evaluation tools and equitable assessment practices.
Specialized Skills: Experience working with multilingual and SpEd students, particularly those from diverse cultural, gender, and sexual identities.
Proven Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and families to ensure effective support for students.
Remote Work Ability: Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setting while adhering to confidentiality and professionalism standards.
Additional Skills:
Strong knowledge of current trends in school psychology, assessment practices, and educational best practices.
