Job Description
Junior Accountant:
We are looking for an upbeat, motivated employee to join our accounting team! We do not require any experience in these tasks, just a motivated and curious learner.
Job duties would include:
1. Maintaining financial records. Confirming compliance with IRS rules and balancing the ledger for regular reports.
2. Assisting in financial matters. Preparing financial statements, analyzing and maintaining ledger accounts, and processing balance sheets.
3. Processing payments and managing invoices for accounts receivable and accounts payable accurately.
4. Processing payroll timely.
5. Maintaining fixed assets. Ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
6. Assisting in inventory counts. Preparing inventory count worksheets and understanding the importance within the company.
Skills required: Self-Motivated, Critical Thinking, Time Management, Collaboration, Analytic Reasoning, and Knowledge of basic accounting skills.
