Job Description
The Firm provides investment management through separate managed accounts, mutual and private funds. This position reports to the CFO.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have extensive finance and accounting knowledge, a great attention to detail, and possess 10+ years of accounting / finance responsibilities.
The candidate must:
. Have public accounting experience as a CPA.
. Be a strong team player, be organized and be able to prioritize tasks to ensure strict deadlines and milestones are achieved. Excellent analytical skills are required with the ability to pivot from accounting duties to communicating complex issues.
Responsibilities include:
The primary responsibility is supervising a 3-person accounting department and to ensure all positions are effectively performed, managed, and cross trained.
· Preparation of Quarterly Financial Statements
· General Ledger Reporting and Analysis
· Working with outside Big 4 auditors and tax preparers
· Internal Audit Activities
· Expense Analysis and Cost Control
· Special Projects
