The position participates in the RCCB Finance Rotational Program. This program provides exposure to different facets of finance, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the organization through opportunities in General Ledger, Cost Accounting, FP&A, and other Finance areas (i.e. pricing, AR/AP, Technology, Automation & Reporting, etc.). As a participant, you'll navigate through diverse roles at all levels within our organization, gaining invaluable insights and skills crucial for success in the finance landscape. Our unique program tailors rotations based on your years of experience, tenure in role, and performance metrics, ensuring a personalized learning journey. Be prepared to enhance analytical skills, develop a strategic mindset, and become a well-rounded finance professional.

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in day-to-day accounting operations, providing comprehensive support in general ledger and cost accounting functions to the Controller and key executives

  • As a Staff Accountant, you will handle a variety of tasks including fixed assets, inventory, cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, leases, tax, and cost accounting functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews

  • You will journal entries, prepare account analyses on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, and communicate findings to key stakeholders

  • This role will prepare and send business reports to internal users, including management and executives, to support the development of annual business plans and forecasts

  • Additionally, you will assist in identifying and implementing process improvements, and research reconciling items and their resolutions

  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and 5 plus years of specific experience 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
