St. Luke’s Hospital is a 300 bed facility serving the Maumee and the surrounding communities. The hospital was established in 1906.
As an independent hospital, St. Luke’s provides a wide-range of critical care to patients, including cardiovascular, spine and neurological, robotic surgery, orthopedic and emergency and offers a stroke center–all of it in an accessible and comfortable suburban setting.
St. Luke’s Hospital is accredited by DNV- GL Health Care. As our accreditation partner, DNV-GL uses the ISO (International Organization of Standards) and the NIAHO (National Integrated Accreditation for Health Care Organization) standards. DNV-GL utilizes the Quality Management System approach for our business model and quality improvement process. Both sets of standards provide a 3 -year certificate of accreditation. We have periodic visits to asses our process improvement progress on a yearly basis.
